After bonding porcelain crowns on teeth, chewing hard food, ice, candy, or other hard objects should be avoided to prevent crown damage. It is also important to avoid biting finger nails and grinding teeth, which could significantly reduce porcelain crow's lifespan. Habitual clenching and grinding could damage the porcelain crown. Therefore, it is recommended to wear an intraoral splint at night to protect the crown when sleeping.
